The way he met you was... unique.

Eli hadn't known anyone in the manor at the time. It was all a vastly new experience, and all he could do was keep up and try to help everybody he could.

He was aware that somebody was being chased, but he didn't know where.. He was faced towards where he knew the hunter was, on high alert. That was when he came to notice your figure running towards him- you had been a lot closer than he thought.

He became even more surprised as you fell directly into him, and if he hadn't quickly grasped your clothes you would have fallen completely. He had almost dropped you as it was...

He looked up, seeing the hunter directly in front of the both of you. Not having any time to waste, he lifted you up a bit more using his tight grip on your arms and pulled you back against him so you were behind a small wall, just barely dodging the hunter's attack.
