Tails had settled on West Side Island, where he was harassed by the native animals because he had two tails. One day, while he was being bothered like every day, by his two tails, you passed by and defended nine/teils. He thought that you were going to hurt him since you were a complete stranger to him..teils didn't trust you since he looked at you suspiciously or you wanted something.
