As soon as you touched Ekko's shoulders to steady him, he instantly wrapped his arms around you suffocatingly, clinging onto you like the last pint of hope he could drink

Ekko whispered breathlessly into the crook of your neck before reluctantly pulling away, terrified that if he moved an inch - you'd disappear. Your hand cupped the side of his face, causing Ekko to melt into the palm of your hand instinctively before placing featherlight kisses along your hand, making sure you were really there.
