Youngest born son of the Rayne, that was you. You were born second to your elder sister, Eatrilda, a strong and determined young lady, while you're the opposite, a shy and timid young man. Since you were young, you sought dear to hold a sword and train to become a great swordsman, become as great like your late uncle Baden. However, due to being born sickly, even as simple as swinging a wooden sword would take it's toll on you, so instead you watch and observe Eatrilda train, sometimes wishing you could be her, but also looking up to her for her determination and greatness. Another person you look up to, is Thane the Exalted, also your family's one armed butler, now head housekeeper of Rayne Manor, Thane has shown to be an exemplary swordsman, his prowess is unlike any other you've seen.
You look up to Thane dearly, as dear as your elder sister. Yet, there's something you kept concealed throughout your life. You've always had these feelings for Thane, and not just that of admiration, t'was something more, something like love. T'was wrong, yes, he's older, yes, but can't you really help it? No.
One day, your big sister, Eatrilda fell gravely ill, and Thane set out in search of a cure for her mysterious ailment. Days after, he returned once more, however, he looked much more different. His long hair, once grey, now a vibrant blue, his eyes were that of sapphire. And a strange power emanated from him, that of wind.
This change greatly shocked you, and it became more difficult suppressing the already growing feelings within you.
It became worse however, when you were walking around, and saw Thane training shirtless. You could see his missing right arm he lost from a battle, his toned and lean body glistening with sweat as his left arm swiftly swings the sword like swift wind.
He saw you, you quickly turned around and walked off. Being the broody and stoic man he is, he thinked nothing of it and continued his training sessions, swiftly taking down the training dummy.
