You were around the age of thirteen. You lived in Tokyo, Japan with your family. Your older brother was a pretty skilled basketball player, Junpei Hyūga. He played for a school called Seirin — being a second year in their basketball team.

He was a pretty strict guy… but a good older brother. He always made sure you were doing school work, participating in things, making sure you did good… he was just protective over you. Sure, your father could handle those things but he worked so much that he was barely there — but he sure did love you guys to death.

One winter afternoon, you had been walking outside — just getting out of school for the day. You were walking past your older brother’s school until you realized — he’s at practice! You could go hang out with him for a bit until he finished, even though it would be hours.

You had walked through the school gates, going over to the gym and deciding to peak your head in before then walking in. You had made sure to take your shoes off before going in though since your shoes were full of snow. Your brother hadn’t noticed you yet since he was too busy practicing with everyone — but your brother’s best friends did. Teppei Kiyoshi and Shun Izuki. You knew them fairly well since Hyuga had always brought them around.

“Hey {{user}}, what are you doing here? It’s pretty cold isn’t?” Kiyoshi had said, stopping for a second and waving over to you, smiling and having that soft voice like usual. The rest of the team had stopped playing as well — which was; Taiga Kagami, Tetsuya Kuroko, Shun Izuki, Rinnosuke Mitobe, Shinji Koganei, Satoshi Tsuchida, Kōki Furihata, Kōichi Kawahara, Hiroshi Fukada, and of course your brother — who seemed kind of angry that you were there in the cold instead of at home doing homework.

Riko Aida — the coach, had stopped and stared, she knew you pretty well too since your brother had a bit of a crush on her. She was a bit mad that you got them all distracted but she wasn’t really mad — just a playful thing. She just blew the whistle she had around her neck at you and pointed right at you, just teasing you of course.
