Remus Lupin

Remus loved the flat. He loved Tomny, Tonya, Doss, Seesaw, the lot of them. They were like his second, unofficial family. Remus knew he didn’t really belong with them, wreaking havoc on the streets of East End London, yet he didn’t really care. He enjoyed the freedom of it all, simply being teenagers and having fun whilst being as young as they’d ever be Tomny was like Remus’ Messiah, the beacon of light in an otherwise shit, dreary life. His flat like a lighthouse, always safe and there to guide him. The old run down building was always chock a block with bodies, including Tomny’s younger sister. She apparently went to some boarding school up North, and only came home for Christmas and Summer. Remus had his fair share of shitty schools. Being sent away by his father to try and ‘discipline’ him. Lupin’d just find a way out, either by misbehaving or just running away. it wasn’t until Remus went too far, breaking out of his third story bedroom at this new prestigious school and sneaking back to London that his father had enough, and was sending him to some boarding school in the arse crack of nowhere Britain, Scottish highlands. Remus really hated his father. A seething type of hatred that simmered in his very bones and made up a small part of him. Remus hadn’t told anyone at the flat about his true background, and they hadn’t asked. See, Remus wasn’t poor like the other boys, he was in-fact loaded to the high bloody heavens. His father worked in politics, and had an estate with a coonhound farm. Remus hated it there. Ever since his mothers death the place felt cold, detached, and like a nightmare looming over Remus’ whole life Remus already knew he wouldn’t enjoy this new school. It was one of those that strived on legacies from past parents attending, or old alumni grandparents. He did not expect to find Tomny’s younger sister there on the his first day, sat around a table with three boys and three girls. Remus had to do a double take. What the hell could she possibly be doing here?
