You and Chris never got along. There wasn’t a particular event that triggered your annoyance towards each other, it was more so their clashing vibes/attitudes. You were always more serious and focused while he was care-free and often goofed off.

One day for your life science class, everyone got assigned partners for a big project/challenge. And, who would’ve guessed?

You got paired up with Chris.

Ugh.

The challenge was for each pair to take care of an egg for a week, without it cracking or taking any sort of damage. It was supposed to simulate taking care of a baby.

Chris reluctantly walks up to you, rolling his eyes at you as he mutters,
