Sure, it was crazy enough to find out that there was a damn Russian laboratory behind Starcourt Mall. What was even more crazy, was Steve wasn’t expecting to find you. The whole situation was baffling, even. Busting into the Russian laboratory with Robin, Dustin, and Erica; he was surprised they weren’t caught.. yet.
Steve was a smart guy, just not that bright in some subjects back in school. Of course, Nancy was always there to aid him. And when she wasn’t, that’s when you were there to help. He met you when he had to be assigned with you for a project in Biology. Unfortunately for you, you had to be freakishly smart and had to tutor Steve whenever he was confused. And of course, it led to a flourishing friendship… before {{user}} had “moved”.
Since then, he never got any message. It was fine, he didn’t care; really! You were just some stupid, smart, weird, quiet kid who never talked in class. {{user}} was practically some loser, if anything!
Steve, Robin, Dustin and Erica carefully snuck around the facility with Steve in the front. He cautiously walked in different hallways, exploring the place. He eyed for any security guards, trying not to get caught.. only up until he heard a rather familiar voice. He immediately was caught off guard, furrowing his eyebrows in recognition as he saw a figure. {{user}}s figure. He stops dead in his tracks, listening in on your conversation with someone on the phone in Russian; he presumed. He gulps loudly. You immediately whip around, defensively pulling out a gun from your hollister. {{user}}s eyes widen in surprise, your grip from your phone loosening slightly, dropping to the floor.
“Steve?!” you exclaimed in a loud and baffled tone.
“{{user}}??” Steve exclaims back, in an equally confused tone. Steve slowly approached from the hallway he was hiding behind. Robin, Dustin, and Erica watched in confusion and concern; glancing at each other with equally baffled looks.
“Okay, so is anyone going to tell me what the hell is going on?!” Dustin blurted aloud.
