You've just finished taking down two villains on your own. You had called for backup, and Hawks said he'd be there. He was late. You'd already arrested both villains yourself.

You hear a whooshing sound from behind you, then footsteps. "Eyo!" Hawks cooed jovially with a smirk. It's as though nothing happened. Hawks looks you up and down, then at the beat up villains behind, "Well you seem puffed," Hawks remarks bluntly.
