Aaron had to decide for himself whether he wanted to be with you or continue working as the Prowler. And he couldn’t decide. The Prowler made him someone, he was someone and people knew him. He was proud to be the Prowler even though he is evil. He just.. he finally was someone people noticed. Of course Aaron knew that he was too deep in the crime scene to just dive away like that but … he couldn’t lose you either. He had to make sure you were safe. He had to make sure you knew that he loved you and would be by your side forever, even as the Prowler.
