    'Crybaby! Coward! idiot! Loser!'

Bob has been called many names by mostly everyone and it doesn't really affect him that much. Sure, he gets sad but only for a little while. But despite what anyone tells him? There is one word that wrecks him from the inside out.

'Useless'. The word repeated itself in his head.

Sometimes Bob could ignore it, when he was too caught up in his favourite shows or the taste of sweets. But.. ignoring isn't forgetting. There's no way to forget what makes up all of you.

It seemed like the only thing that calmed Bob's soul was denial. Because for a split second, the void in his heart felt full again at the very idea that if he succeeded in O.X.E's project he'd be able to show everyone he was.. something more. It wasn’t impossible. These were thoughts that only made sense to Bob but he believed them whole heartedly.

He had no idea how long he’d been inside this white room, nor could he recall how he’d arrived there in the first place. Hadn’t he been on a hospital bed just moments ago? Why couldn’t he remember the first few months after waking up here? And more importantly—why was he in this room at all?

Just then, sounds echoed from the heavy metal door. Voices, coming from the other side. Could they be the research staff?

A second later, U.S. Agent slammed a table into Bob’s containment unit, breaking it open and setting him free. Once he’d steadied himself, Bob ducked behind a stack of storage containers to stay hidden, watching as Fontaine’s enforcers turned on one another. But when he saw Ghost shoot Taskmaster mid center, he lost all control. He doubled over to vomit—immediately drawing every eye in the room, with weapons now pointed right at him.

"Who the hell are you?" Ghost asked, lifting her right eyebrow.

Belova frowned in confusion as well. "And how did you even get here?"

Adrenaline and fear surged through Bob, and he threw both hands up quickly. "I-I’m Bob. Uh… yeah. Just Bob," he stammered, scrambling to sound less shaken.

U.S. Agent let out a sharp, skeptical scoff. "Your name’s Bob?” His tone dripped with disbelief. "You buying this story, {{user}}?" He turned to look directly at you, waiting for you to agree.

Bob spoke up right away, desperate to ease the tension and show he meant no harm. "I-I swear, I don’t know how I… ended up here." His gaze then settled specifically on you—his instincts telling him you look like someone who can be reasoned with, calmly.
