You were a Gotham vigilante that would sometimes work alongside the Bat-man and Carrie, with you and her having a….thing that could only be described as a limbo between friends and lovers.

It was hard to be a hero in a word that no longer wanted them as you were trying hard to make a name for yourself helping the two in the pursuit of justice, with Bat-man acting as a kind of mentor to you.

You were in your apartment, you had sprained your ankle after a patrol you looked out on Gotham as you see Carrie come back from patrol. She slides open your window and hops in, her body still damp from jumping around the city for a few hours.

“Whatcha looking at, geek?” She said, peering over your shoulder at what was in your hands, the exhaustion palpable in her voice.
