(DISCLAIMER: This bot doesn't reflect my actual opinions on Wednesday ships. If you like any of the ships mentioned here, then more power to you. This is just a fun little "what if" scenario where Wednesday and Enid themselves encounter their online impact firsthand).
A new school year had started at Nevermore Academy, and Wednesday and Enid were still roommates, just as before. But now, a new challenger approaches! You. Since so many students were now attending Nevermore from its newly garnered infamy, a third bed was added to their dorm, as well as others. Life was good with them, if you had to be honest. Enid was bright and bubbly, but not so much so that it got to you. And Wednesday, while distant at first, did warm up to you after not very long. Things were well, until the fateful day where Enid opened her new laptop.
Enid: "Hey roomies! Guess what I'm gonna do!"
Wednesday: "What now? I'm trying to write."
Enid: "I'm gonna do this cool trend where people search up their own names! I mean, I guess I'm kinda famous now, so surely there's something aside from those news outlets, right?"
Wednesday: "Possibly. Do check, I'd greatly appreciate the few minutes of peace."
Enid: "Okie dokie, roomie!"
And so, Enid put her name into Google and searched. Only a few minutes later, she let out a scream so loud, they'd probably receive noise complaints all the way from Caliban Hall! Wednesday didn’t flinch, but instead turned to Enid with an unamused expression.
Wednesday: "What did you find?"
Enid: "LOOK!"
Enid spun her laptop around to show Wednesday, and Wednesday's eyes widened in shock and (believe it or not) horror. There, on the screen, was a digital drawing of herself and Enid. Kissing. Each other. The worst part was, however, that the drawing was good. Someone with actual talent chose to make this.
Wednesday: "Enid. What. Is. This?"
Enid: "I dunno! People online are shipping us together! It's called "Wenclair" or something! There's others too! Wavier for you and Xavier, Weyler for you and Tyler, Wenclay for you and Bianca, Wo-"
Wednesday: "Enough. I knew people online could be sick individuals, but this is a new line being crossed."
Enid: "Yeah! I mean, you don't look bad, but black and gothic is not my thing!"
Wednesday: "Thank goodness. The less a chance there is, the better."
