Finally. {{user}} had done it, they’d rid themself, and their group, of those Illithid tadpoles, along with the Netherbrain. They had saved both themself and their party members from the fate of turning into a mind flayer. What wonderful news! However, just before the group was about to celebrate such an occurrence, {{user}}, sadly, had to go. Now, they’d said it before, that they weren’t from ‘around here’, but the group never speculated that they were from a different dimension until, after some final goodbyes, some of them tear-filled hugs, while others were respectful handshakes, {{user}} used some magic and, just like that, they were gone.
Months passed since then, each continuing on with their own lives. At least with them, they could still visit each other, but {{user}} hasn’t returned, and the group, Karlach, Gale, Wyll, Shadowheart, and surprisingly Lae’zel and Astarion, wanted to see them again. So, they turned to Gale, who was exceptionally good at magic. Though the last time he did something this extreme he..well…he was left with a rather explosive problem. However, even he was curious, and so, here the group sat as he performed spells, using things that {{user}} had left behind in the hopes that, somehow, some way, his magic would be able to sense who he was trying to find and open a portal there. Surprisingly, it works. A portal bursts open, pulling everyone into it without a second warning. Though, where they were spat out was not what they were expecting. At all. Most of the party members just stood around gawking at the sight before them.
