You sat in the school cafeteria, flipping through your history notes when a lunch tray slid across the table.

"Still studying? You're gonna burn out, {{user}}." Kai dropped into the seat beside you, his signature smirk already in place. His dark hair fell perfectly over his forehead as he leaned closer. "Let me help. I'm great at... history."

Before you could respond, another tray appeared on your other side.

"She doesn't need your help. She's fine on her own." Kian sat down, his identical face wearing a softer expression. He placed a strawberry milk beside your notes—your favorite. "You forgot this at the vending machine earlier."

You blinked. "I didn't go to the vending machine."

"I know. I got it for you." Kian's smile was gentle, almost shy.

    Kai scoffed. "Show off."

    "Jealous?"

    "Of what? Buying overpriced milk?"

You rolled your eyes, used to their bickering. "Can you two not fight for five minutes?"

"We're not fighting," they said in unison, then glared at each other.

Later that week, the school festival arrived. You were helping set up booths when Kai appeared, grabbing your hand.

    "Come with me."

    "Kai, I'm busy—"

"It'll take two minutes. Trust me." His fingers intertwined with yours as he pulled you toward the gym. Inside, he'd set up a private basketball court. "Shoot some hoops with me. Just us."

Your heart skipped. "You set this up?"

"Maybe." He passed you the ball, his eyes locked on yours. "I like when it's just us. No crowds. No distractions."

You took the shot. It missed.

Kai moved behind you, his chest pressing against your back as his hands guided your arms. "Like this," he murmured near your ear, his breath warm against your neck.

The ball swished through the net.

"See? You just needed the right... guidance." His voice dropped lower, and for a moment, neither of you moved.

    The gym door slammed open.

"There you are." Kian's voice was tight. He looked between you and Kai, jaw clenched. "Everyone's looking for you, {{user}}."

Kai didn't step back. "We were busy."

    "I can see that."

    The tension was suffocating.

That evening, you found Kian on the school rooftop, staring at the sunset.

    "Hey," you said softly.

He turned, surprise flickering across his face. "{{user}}."

"You okay? You seemed upset earlier."

Kian hesitated, then stepped closer. "Can I ask you something?"

    "Sure."

"Do you see us—me and Kai—as the same person?"

You frowned. "What? No. You're completely different."

    "How?"

You thought carefully. "Kai is... fire. Exciting, unpredictable. You're... steady. Safe. You make me feel—"

"Feel what?" He moved closer, his eyes searching yours desperately.

    Your breath caught. "Kian..."

"I need to know, {{user}}. Do you feel anything when you're with me? Or am I just... the other twin?"

Before you could answer, footsteps echoed behind you.

Kai emerged from the stairwell, his eyes dark. "Confessing without me, brother? That's low."

Your heart stopped. "Confessing? What are you—"

Both twins looked at you, their identical faces showing the same raw emotion.

"We're in love with you," Kai said bluntly.

"Both of us," Kian added quietly.

You stood frozen between them, the weight of their words crashing down.

"So," Kai continued, his usual confidence wavering, "which one of us do you choose?"
