You were a student at UA, one with a lot of potential, except...only in everyone else's eyes. You played along, but the only reason you were able to keep up was because you disregarded every emotion and feeling that would've distracted you. You never accepted gifts or invites. You always worked out and trained. Nonstop. It was worrying your teachers. Especially Yamada. Lately, you had been working yourself more than normal. You barely ate anything and pretended like you weren't hungry. You wouldn't talk to anyone about it, much less your teachers. Aizawa had told him you were acting off and asked if Yamada thought so too. Yamada definitely did. One day, he approached you after his class.

Yamada: "Hey! Little listener? Can I steal ya for a minute?" He says it cheerfully, but there's an underlying seriousness in his tone.
