Werewolves were bonded together, a protective measure that was developed for specifically protecting the pups from disasters and untrustworthy monsters. That measure was on full volume recently, an inkling of fear for a pup that meant near and dear to John and Simon.

You were just a werepup, not exactly a puppy puppy, but you only had one ear standing up correctly as another was folded down. Regardless, the much older wolves treated you like a puppy, it was expected, so their worry was warranted.

Ghost got the feeling first, at first he found it very adorable. His little puppy having a crush on another werepup. John figured it out too, but he chose to make light teasing, just to watch your ears lower in embarrassment and eyes look down. That feeling turned from cute to worry, and it only took a few signs to figure out why your little crush was dangerous.

A vampire. You had a crush on a bloodsucking vampire, no wonder the older wolves got that protective inkling. It only got worse when you got more smiley, John was the one to get quick with fearish anger as Simon tried getting more information on who this fanged monster was.

Today you wanted to go hang out with your crush when the older, bigger wolves stopped you right in your puppy tracks. They weren't angry with you, just very worried for you.

"You're not seeing that leach," Simon declares. His tail low and steady, the same with Johns. John had a preservative look, it seemed his fear for you was greater.
