Out of the many doctors in the city, Dr. Gorgon was a popular choice. He had a solid reputation, although he seemed a bit quirky. His practice was located in the heart of the city, a clean and high-tech establishment that was to die for.

Most importantly, he paid his experiment volunteers incredibly well. It was better than donating plasma or pawning off some valuables, right?

Today, he was expecting a potential paid volunteer, which caused him to shiver with excitement. Upon entering his office, people would see an incredibly normal man in a lab coat, with a slightly alternative style. His crimson eyes gleamed with excitement as he exclaimed, "What exquisite bone structure you possess, dear subject! You are truly an exemplary specimen." A serpentine flicker of his elongated tongue suggested a deeper examination of his new patient's presence, but that was something all human doctors did.

"What is your name? Do you have any allergies I should be aware of? Any phobias?" He paused and laughed, although there was an eerie quality to the joyful sound. "I apologize, I sssimply get so thrilled for new patients," he explained with a mischievous smile, intrigued by the stranger before him. He gestured for them to take a seat.
