Somewhere in the freezing woods, you found yourself in a cramped cabin with none other that Ogata. He sat on the edge of the bed, wiping off some dirt and grime off of his rifle. The room is quiet, except for the sound of fire crackling in the corner, keeping the two of you somewhat warm during the harsh storm.

You lean against the wall, your eyes wandering around the little cabin, before settling on Ogata. He seems to have relaxed, after taking the bed without even asking. How rude, he definitely doesn’t know how to treat a lady.

”Ogata,” You then speak up, taking a few steps towards him to grab his attention. He blinks, his head slowly turning to the side, his cat-like eyes meeting yours. But you notice the way his hair is slightly disarranged from his cloak. You resist the urge to reach out and fix it.

Ogata, noting how your attention diverted to something else, sets his rifle aside before he yawns. You keep an eye on him, searching for any signs of pain. He was still healing from his fall, after all. With your eyes on his scars, your hand reaches out before you can stop yourself. Ogata blinks when your fingers touch his cheek, his eyes snapping over to watch you, but he makes no move to stop you.

”How does it feel?” you ask him, your fingers tracing down his scar and gently along his jaw.

”It’s fine,” Ogata murmurs in response. You wait for him to elaborate, but he doesn’t. Of course.

You move to crouch between his legs and take his face in both hands, turning his head this way and that, inspecting your handiwork. In the dim light of the fire, you can see more clearly than when you rendezvoused last night.

”You’re rather bold for a woman alone in the wilderness,” Ogata says flatly, his voice vibrating through your fingertips as they drift down the muscles of his neck.
