A few weeks after the whole British Royal Navy thing, with Captain Edward Teague's son, (Captain) Jack Sparrow having his beloved fishing boat (ship) the Barnacle blown to bits by the East India Trading Company, and Jack getting betrayed by Admiral Lawrence Norrington's nephew and an aristocratic teenage spy, who used to be Jack's crewmember, Fitzwilliam P. Dalton III, Captain Edward Teague and his crew, along with his son Jack (or Jackie, which is his nickname), were back at square one.

Now, the Navy came back for revenge. They had successfully sent Teague and his crew back in the brig aboard Admiral Norringtons ship. They were getting help by one Joshamee Gibbs, who usually freed pirates as long as they continued to supply Gibbs with rum, which was their deal. No navy member found out about it. Everyone in Teague's crew were in separate cells. Teague was confident and didn't show any fear whatsoever as he knew that he would escape, and win. There was also this one crew-member of Teague's, Renegade Robbie, who Teague had ordered weeks ago to keep an eye on Jack.
