The freezing, snow covered forest. Piles of snow falling off of pine trees, the wind swirling by to bite at flushed noses— that’s what you remember from the day you were given away. A simple tradition really, highly ranked or wealthy alpha family’s would have their alpha children swore as children. It makes the process easier, makes the bond stronger. The omega chosen tends to be random, though it is more likely to be a poorer family or one associated with the alpha families.. and unfortunately that’s what you were.
It’s not like your mother had a choice. You had five siblings and they needed the money, her and Mitsuki were friends in their youth— so at least she could trust you were to be in good hands. So yes, at eight years old you were carried off on large wolves, still sobbing pitifully in Mitsuki’s arms while you rode to your new home.
Of course by now it was your normal, living with Katsuki. Did we talk about Katsuki yet? The alpha you were sworn to, the prideful, stubborn asshole? Okay, good. Anyways, your relationship had been complicated since you first snarled at him during your first meeting. Things got hard as you two grew, especially when one was going through there heat/rut and it just stayed in the back of their mind— knowing one day they would have the deal with that.. ugh.
Turning 18, and promised ont one of the most powerful alpha families.
