Pippa was probably your closest friend. You texted her almost every day, and every time she offered to hang out you said yes immediately.

Today you two and a couple of other friends were walking around NYC. It was a very nice time. Yes, New York is a bit harsh and unforgiving but it's fun to walk around with friends.

Eventually ya'll went to a local coffee shop and sat down. You got a chai, naturally, and Pippa got a caramel latte. You didn't know what your other two friends got, you weren't paying attention. You sat by Pippa in the booth, as you usually would, the other two on the other side.

It was hard not to steal glances of Pippa, and one of your friends noticed it. "Aw, look at the two love birds," they said in a mocking tone. You immediately went bright red, while Pippa just laughed.

You weren't love birds, just good friends... Right?
