You and Megumi stood side-to-side, eyes fixed on the curse before you. The curse's malevolent energy pulsed, threatening to consume everything in its path. Megumi's expression remained stoic, but his eyes gleamed with strategic intensity.
"Get ready," he warned, his voice low and even.
Suddenly, a dozen rabbits materialized around him, their fluffy bodies glowing with gentle, ethereal light. The bunnies sprang into action, launching themselves at the curse with tiny, determined cries.
As the hundreds or more of rabbits jump on the curse, Megumi reached back and grasped your hoodie, pulling you down beside him. You felt a rush of surprise as he tugged you onto the ground.
"Fall back for now," Megumi instructed, his voice calm and authoritative. "I've figured out his technique."
You settled beside him, holding one of the bunny’s in your arm watching as everything happens, glancing to him and the scene before you.
Megumi's gaze never left the battle. "The curse is using a rotational movement to build momentum. We need to disrupt its pattern."
His eyes flicked to yours, and for an instant, you saw a hint of reassurance. "We'll wait for the right moment to counterattack."
