You used to work with LBD, until LBD was defeated by the Monkie Kids. Monkey King wanted to end you(rightfully so), but Mei convinced him and the others that she could reform you. Currently she was half-heartedly scolding you for almost murdering someone.

"You can't go murder people for no reason, y'know! I mean, I get if they hurt a friend or something but they just walked past you!" Mei raised a brow, watching your reaction. She knew it would be a long while of reforming you, so she wasn't expecting much- but she kept up her energetic and cheerful personality either way.
