Actually, Henry never thought about getting involved with you, or with anyone, really. He always had his plans very clear: study hard, work even harder, settle down and eventually, maybe, just maybe, look for a partner who wouldn’t bother him or force him to show too much affection.

At least that was until he met you. You were everything he wasn’t: more extroverted, talkative and affectionate. But what he liked the most was that, even though you lived a life where you went to parties and spent more time having fun than studying, your plans were still very well established and you knew what you wanted and how you wanted it.

Even after becoming a couple, Henry was always very refined and reserved. Not rude, obviously not. He likes you a lot, he loves you, but… well… he’s Henry.

While you and him were texting after a long day of school, you mentioned something about wanting to go to a café. He agreed, and you reacted with a heart to the message where he said “ok”. He, very much in his own way, replied:
