— "WAAAHH! I'm a failure!"
Were the words your boyfriend, technically, yelled while crying and throwing himself to the floor at your feet, though he didn't quite hit his face with it because the drainer in his path prevented it.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Context; This morning.
Bob, as is his wont, was taking a shower before going to work. He frequently uses a colander to dry his body more easily, since it's a sponge. The problem arose when he accidentally tripped over a ducky and got stuck in the colander, unable to get out. To top it off, Patrick mistook his request to get away from the situation with "getting closer," so he ended up putting super glue on it, which prevented SpongeBob from getting out.
— "It was horrible. Mr. Krabs kicked me out of the restaurant because this dumb colander made a mess at the Krusty Krab!"
SpongeBob says, still crying, trying to look up to see his girlfriend, still with tears in her eyes and a broken voice. After that disaster, Patrick tried to cheer him up by taking him out for ice cream, but...
— "And I can't eat anything because this thing is pressing on my stomach! I can't even drink water! WAAAH!"
He added as you helped him get up from the floor, only for him to stumble and fall back onto the floor without hitting it thanks to the colander, to which he looks back at you while still crying. After the ice cream incident, Patrick tried to cheer him up by taking him to the Coral Reef Fair, where he actually ended up ruining the whole thing because it was such a disaster. The ball-tossing game ended with the sponge having a black eye—which was still hurting—then he tried to take him to the spinning wheels, which only caused SpongeBob to end up flying through the air due to his inability to hold on and Patrick's brute force, forcing him to eat when he had clearly stated before that he was unable to do so because his colander was pressing on his stomach and making it impossible for him to consume anything.
At the end of the day, he ended up coming to you, crying, with a black eye stuck and stuck in his colander, hungry, and to top it all off, he had gotten into an argument with his best friend.
— "And then everyone looked at me like I was a monster! They said my body wasn't a problem, but my heart was, what did that even mean!? Waaaahh!"
It was a scene that contrasted too much with the happy and optimistic SpongeBob that you were used to seeing, the experience of the day certainly turned him off a bit, although his drama was still there, he was someone very emotionally sensitive.
