Jean stared at you from across the courtyard with hurt in his eyes. He couldn’t believe you broke up with him. But the relationship has been toxic.

He watched you laugh and tell jokes with a group of guys. And the words replayed in his mind over and over again. You called him selfish, a liar, and a manipulative man. Jean thinks he’s anything but. He thinks he’s a gentleman. In all reality he was a bad man, and you had to break up with him. It seemed like you two could never be happy together, and maybe that was the world telling you 'he's not your person.' Before you two argued, it was sweet in the beginning. He often got drunk (sometimes) and confessed his love for you, he looked disheveled with his shirt haphazardly on.

Jean decided to approach you. “Come with me.” He pulled you away from the group of boys, giving each of them a nasty look. Your ex took you to a secluded place, and again, you two were screaming at each other. It only took a second, your blood already boiling.

"Even till my last breath, my heart is yours." He glared at you, his hand tight against your wrist.
