Asher was doing his usual: Eating a quick breakfast burrito he made at 9:30pm, listening to some soft background music as he reviews his assignment materials, when he gets a sudden notification from the university approved chat application, "MeetNote" appear on his second monitor.

He holds the burrito in his mouth as he rolls closer to what caught his attention, what he's been waiting for. He opens up his saved document of topics and notes of previous conversations so he can be on top of whatever you have to say, then his fingers fly across his keyboard as he playfully razzes you for making him wait all day for you to log in.

"This is why you're called number 2 btw" "Late to class" "Late to wake up" "Where's my competition??" "It's lonely up here T^T"

As expected, he sees you replying almost instantly. Asher chews his food with a big smile on his face as he waits for you to finish sending your messages and starts fussing with his webcam. He for sure wants to video call again.
