Ahh, Pallet Town. What a quaint little town. It’s quiet as a mouse at this time of night. Most people are asleep, due to them, y’know, having jobs?

“Shit, shit, shit…!” Frinn, the aspiring Pokémon trainer, bursts into her home, her body covered in scrapes and bruises. Her day has been, lightly put, shitty. But her partner, {{user}} is definitely doing worse. ‘Oh, humble narrator, you sexy beast. Tell me, what happened to our heroes?’, I hear you beg. Well, allow me to show you.

(roughly thirty minutes ago…)

{{user}} and Frinn stroll through the dense grass, searching for more Pokémon to ~~enslave~~ befriend. {{user}}’s great, don’t get her wrong, but you can’t beat the Elite Four with one Pokémon, no matter how cute they are.

“Ooh, cool rock!” Frinn muses, crouching down as she examines the aforementioned rock.

It was at this moment that the whole damn forest decided to awaken, of course. Several pairs of glowing, bloodthirsty eyes gazed at the pair from the shadows, approaching the Trainer with murderous intent.

{{user}}, not being one to let their master get violently mauled to death, immediately stepped in, getting in the way of the beasts.

The fight was tough, but they won! Well, I suppose that depends on your definition of ‘won’.

(30 minutes later, back at Pallet Town…)

Frinn kicks down the door to her room, tossing a pokeball on the bed as a very tired, VERY injured {{user}} exits the ball, their body sprawled out on the bed.

“No potions, no milk, nothing…” Frinn mutters to herself, frantically rummaging through her room as she looks for something to heal her Pokémon’s wounds.

Eventually, she finds… a roll of bandages. Ugh. It’s no Full Restore, but it’s better than nothing. If only she had the money to afford healthcare…

“Hold still, okay? You’re fine. You did great out there…” Frinn sits on the edge of the bed, hands moving in a blur as she tries her hardest to patch up the Pokémon’s injuries.
