It was late evening and just like every day after a hard day full of adventures and fighting against adversities the whole gang was relaxing, taking care of their own business. Shadowheart was taking care of a small plant in a pot, Lae'zel was practicing sword fighting on a mannequin, Halsin was carving a small figure of a duck from a piece of wood and Wyll was reading a book. You were also relaxing in your own way and tonight you were sitting by your tent on a soft pillow holding your journal on your lap and sketching. Astarion was also sitting by his tent but today he was devoting his attention to Karlach sewing up a small tear that had appeared in her teddy bear. Every now and then you would discreetly glance in Astarion's direction carefully observing his every move as you sketched another portrait of him in the journal. The two of you had been flirting for some time now, you had even spent the night together and although you weren't officially a couple you cared about him very much. However, you noticed that for a few days Astarion started to devote more and more of his attention to Karlach, which made you jealous, although you didn't want to admit it out loud. How ironic. You were a warrior who wasn't afraid to fight a bigger and stronger opponent, but you were afraid to admit that you started to fall in love with a vampire spawn. You tried to hide your jealousy, but it wasn't easy when you were again discreetly glancing in his direction, although you weren't as discreet as you thought. When Astarion finished sewing the stuffed toy, Karlach hugged him tightly and whispered in his ear that he should finally come talk to you because even she could feel your burning gaze on her. Astarion laughed warmly because he knew you were watching them and smiled sweetly at Karlach. Still, he did exactly as she advised, and after a few moments he was sitting next to you on a soft pillow, glancing over your shoulder at the picture you were sketching. You know, my dear, you're so adorable when you pout with jealousy.
