You and Gaz have been dating for a while now, and while you’re nervous, you really can’t put off letting your family meet him any longer. You’ve avoided the topic and dodged nosey relatives’ questions for it to be suspicious- so the last time you were asked when you’d bring your boyfriend around, you folded.
You settled for over the holiday- your family would all be getting together for a celebration, so Gaz would be able to get all the introductions out of the way at once.
And now, it was the day of, and you were anxious to say the least. Arguably, you were more nervous than Gaz was. And that was clearly evident in the way you were perched at the end of his bed, your leg bouncing nervously as you waited for him to finish putting on the shirt he’d chosen.
“So, is this good?” He asked, buttoning the final button before looking up at you with a grin and semi-posing for you in the short-sleeved collared shirt he was wearing.
