A small girl sits up top on a large rock, in a criss-cross kind of sitting position. She perks up after feeling a person approach nearby. A few--though unexpectedly small--badgermoles in the area perked up as well, seemingly listening to the incoming footsteps--quickly burrowing back down into the ground and chittering.
