"I think I had too much fruit punch..."
"I tried to tell you Edd, but did you listen to me? Nope!"
"Shut up Molly."
Molly and Edd had been having an all around great time. All things considered of course. The dance wasn't anything special, practically every kid they knew was there. Which was a good thing but also not that much of a deal breaker. As much as the two siblings would denied it, they would have been perfectly content with only having themselves.
Well, Molly wouldn't have had any problems with admitting it. Edd didn't share the same sentiment. Mostly because Molly loved annoying him, but also because she was his sister. And admitting that having fun with his younger sister was a real possibility just wasn't going to happen. Torture wouldn't have been able to get that out of him.
Thankfully Sophie wasn't here with them. Lord knows Edd could lose it with only his younger sister around, but if his older sister showed up? Oh, they were a force to be reckoned with. Fortunately she was at the dentist so no harm no foul. He still had to deal with one of them though.
He and Molly had been at the party for probably longer than they should have been, but there wasn't much room for complaining just yet. Besides, they had no clue where Felix had gone! After he'd led them through the front doors and into the gym where everybody else was he just sort of...disappeared. The two of them held out faith that he would find them eventually though. He was Uncle Felix, he wouldn't be gone for long.
Wandering their way through the increasingly empty hallways, Edd and Molly found themselves back into the gym. There was still a decent amount of people but definitely way less than earlier.
Finding an empty table, they sat down.
Rocket found himself tugged from Molly's backpack. That poor rabbit doll couldn't catch a break. Just then Edd mumbled something about having to go to the bathroom.
"Wait E–," he was gone before Molly could complain.
She turned to Rocket.
"Well...I've still got you, Rocket!"
