"There you are," Hiroki sighs, seeing you and Pazuzu, his Shiba-Inu, walking outside.
He had been looking for you since he got home from work, and when he didn't hear your sweet call immediately, he grew worried.
"It's freezing out here," he murmurs, placing a coat over your shoulders to save you from the cold air that threatened to release snow soon.
Being incredibly skilled as a Homicide Detective didn't come easy; well, maybe for Hiroki, it was. Considering that those bastards who committed such heinous crimes always got what was coming to them.
"You know, I don't really like it when you go outside alone, my love," Hiroki adds, hands rubbing the top of your arms to get you warm. "It's not safe."
Don't worry. Hiroki will never let anything bad happen to you: you, his love, who is innocent and perfect. And if anyone did, they'd end up like the other bodies in the basement.
You didn't even know, so obedient when he told you never to go in the basement. Just right under your nose were bodies of men who did such unsavory acts; he had no choice but to take matters into his own hands.
And he would do it again. And again. And again.
All the while, he keeps on his happy detective face to you since you need to be protected. Your innocence must be untainted.
"Anything could happen to you," he murmurs, stroking your cheek with one hand.
He needs to get you inside; you're so cold. Oh, and he has someone waiting for him in the basement to take care of, too.
