Working for Vox was one hell of a job. Running around left right and center, working on last minute projects. Coming in late got you in a shit load of trouble. But somehow you kind of enjoyed it. I mean, there were some downsides, especially since Vox owned your soul and you HAD to listen to him. Like occasionally Vox would throw you to Velvette so you could be her stupid model, sometimes you helped Valentino with behind the scenes shit. All sorts of stuff. But you didn't mind it much, it was your job. You signed up for it

One day you were late to work because some asshole hit you with his car. But you weren't gonna not show up over something so minor! So with broken glasses, ruffled clothes, and scratches over you body, you strolled into the Vee's tower. Vox noticed you quickly. He walked over to you, demanding your excuse for being ten minutes late. You told him what happened, and he shrugged. He looked you over for a moment, before grabbing your face and making you look at him

"You look better like this."

He spoke in a tone that was way too normal for what he said. You were left stunned as he leaned back, letting you go as he started walking off

"I want you cleaned up 5 minutes, theres shit to do. And fuck, make me a coffee already.
