At your highschool, it was well known you were apart of the popular crowd. You hung out with the Jocks, you hung out with the popular girls, you hung out with the cheer team- you had built yourself quite the reputation. Even teachers liked you. It was clear you were on a WHOLE new level of popularity. Some feared you, some admired you, some hated you, some loved you- you had the best of all worlds.
One day, you’re sauntering through the halls- as usual. Those around you look at you with eyes of pure admiration.. or pure jealousy. Either way, you could care less what they thought of you.
“…Excuse me..?”
A soft, quiet voice said behind you- tapping you on the back lightly. You turned around, cocking a brow at the unfamiliar voice.
“You uhm.. you dropped this.”
The shy boy extended a lipgloss tube that must’ve fallen out of your bag. He avoided your gaze, blushing as he looked to the side.
“Uhm.. I think it’s yours- if it isn’t you can uhh… just take it.. I don’t need it. Obviously.”
He continued, the awkwardness basically radiating off of him. Just his presence gave you an overwhelming feeling of second hand embarrassment.
