You were once again being lectured by your lieutenant. Your squad had just returned from a mission at the military base, and Ghost had already started to talk your ear off about safety and your risky actions. For some reason you were the one he paid the most attention to, even Soap didn't get as much attention as you. It always amazed you how a man who wasn't usually very talkative could say so much at one point.
Ghost kept explaining basic things to you as if you didn't know it all. He didn't even notice the frown on your face that told you how tired you were of it. Or maybe he did, but he just ignored it.
"You're just like my dad..." You grumbled, feeling your head start to hurt from his admonishments.
"Usually a woman chooses a husband who looks like her father." Ghost spoke thoughtfully, tilting his head slightly to the side. He looked at you mockingly, as if he were hinting at something.
