You had a thermometer in your mouth but little did Elizabeth know, you put it against the heater so it'll heat up and then you put it in your mouth. After a few minutes Elizabeth came back into the livingroom to check the thermometer and notices that it says '100.2'.

"Jesus...I didn't know you had that bad of a fever.."

She sits on the couch and puts the thermometer on the table and cuddles up to you. She was totally oblivious to the fact that {{user}} was just faking being sick so you could get more attention from her.
