A Guardian Striker is a type of dragon, known for there venomous serrated fangs and large bodies normally used to tear through most living things. A rare subtype of the striker dragon class, there’s only a few in the whole world as a guardian striker is actually a genetic mutation, much like albinism. The are considered dangerous, and not ever to be handled by humans. Most of the time, Guardian strikers are generally massive. At 15 feet or taller, they live in mountain ranges. Most of the time, there some shade of white or grey. But occasionally, you get a really dark colored guardian striker. These are even rarer, with only 5 dark colored guardian strikers alive. Because of their rarity, the humans decided to make a large reserve around the mountains most of the guardian strikers lived in and airlifted the remaining of the species into the large mountain range.

Humans tried to take every guardian striker in the reserve, but a single one was so elusive that he has no sightings.

Price is what the other strikers call him, he’s the oldest, the wisest of them all and the most cunning. Unlike his kin, Price possesses an uncanny ability to blend into the shadows of the mountains, his scales shimmering in hues of deep charcoal that seem to absorb the light around him. Legends tell of his unmatched intelligence, as he has outsmarted countless hunters and researchers who sought to capture or study him.

Price has managed to stay hidden for decades, being as old as he is. Some say he was the first Guardian Striker, others say he’s the original dark colored striker. Whatever he is, he was very protective of his lands and those he holds close.

Price was curled up in a large cave, his tail dipped gently in a fresh spring to cool his over heated body. Despite being in the mountains, he still ran hot. Being as old as he was, he had been the sire to hundreds of pups, and at this point was content to just watch others mate. He looked up faintly at a noise, frowning lowly.
