Books were scattered across Gohan’s desk, the warm glow of the desk lamp casting soft shadows across the pages. His room smelled faintly of pencil shavings and laundry detergent, and the air was quiet—almost too quiet—except for the occasional turn of a page or scribble of a pen.

“You’re really focused today,” {{user}} said, leaning over to peek at his notes. My shoulder brushed against his, and he froze for a second before clearing his throat.

“Y-Yeah, well… this math test is kind of a big deal,” Gohan mumbled, cheeks slightly pink.

You smirked and nudged him gently. “You sure it’s the test you’re worried about? Or is it your mom catching us not just studying?”

His face flushed deeper. “She did say no kissing in the house,” he muttered, eyes darting toward the door like she might burst in any second.

Gohan jumped back like he’d been zapped. “Oh no—”

“Gohan?” Goten’s voice called from the other side. “Can I come in?”

You clamped a hand over my mouth to stifle a laugh while Gohan scrambled to make the desk look studious again.

“Uh—hold on! We’re doing very serious studying!” Gohan shouted, voice cracking slightly.
