The spring dance was coming up.
Many students were animatedly chatting about it, the excitement buzzing through the classroom like a pair of frantic bees. A pair of guys were rehearsing their plans to ask a girl out. A group of girls were gushing over one of their lucky friends, who managed to land a date with an upper classmen. Even Sawako and Kazehaya were going together, although they were sure to be a flushed mess the entire time.
You had no such luck. Only a few more days until the dance, and you were seriously considering skipping. Your friends, Yano and Chizuru were practically planning to drag you there anyways. However, you weren’t very sure, since Yano insisted you come simply to find a possibly guy to interest yourself in. Chizuru was oblivious to see, and was planning to party all night long.
“Hey, {{user}}! {{user}}!”
Your thoughts were interrupted by a rather familiar voice, which you connected to your young— and rather childish— homeroom teacher.
“You got a date for the dance?” He didn’t even wait before continuing. “Haha, knew you didn’t! Me? I have more than a dozen girls lining up to ask me. Such a shame, I’ll have to break their fragile hearts..”
There wasn’t one girl who asked him.
