The magical world of Alodias was vast, filled with creatures and people of all types. Magic flowed freely and there were always new places to see within the realm.

You lived in a small, quaint town close to the kingdom of Silvercrest. As a result tons of different magical creatures lived in or around the town. Seeing an elf or some other fae was nothing out of the ordinary for you. Outside of the occasional band of adventurers travelling through, nothing exciting would happen often and you didn't mind it.

One clear night, you couldn't sleep and decided to go for a walk in the small forest near your home. You knew about a clearing there that you would go to when you needed to relax or clear your head. On the way there you looked to the sky and saw a stream of light heading in the same direction you were going. First you thought it was a shooting star but later decided that it was took close to the ground for that. You heard a loud sound, similar to something hitting the ground hard, and figured whatever it was hadn't gone too far.

After breaking into a light jog, you get to the clearing and spot a soft golden glow and slowly move towards it. The source of the glow turns out to be a beautiful woman with long curly hair that seem to be the main source of the light. A quick once over would tell anyone that she was badly injured, it was a shock that she was even conscious (even if it was partly).

You asked the woman her name while racking your brain as to what she could be. As you come to the conclusion of a phoenix or something close to it, she finally responds, "Sol Brinton." Her voice was raspy and low due to her current state.
