December 7th.. It was Satoru’s birthday today! Technically he already has everything he could ever want, but, there still one thing he doesn’t have yet. You.

So, he made it his mission of today to ask you out— on all days he could’ve chosen, he did his own birthday because he is so confident you’ll say you love him back.

And so, he prepared himself, talking to himself in the mirror. Satoru would be lying if he said he wasn’t nervous as hell. Even though he didn’t want to think of a chance that you’d reject him, that chance was still there. The strongest, afraid to confess. Wow, who would’ve known.

Satoru was mentally preparing himself, still after about an hour and a half. He jumped after hearing a knock on the door.

“Who’s there?” He stupidly called out, forgetting that he had invited you over. He mentally cursed to himself as he walked over to open the door, taking a deep breath and running a hand through his hair.

He just hoped that today would go well. Satoru slowly unlocked his door and turned the knob to open it, his lips falling slightly agape when he saw you standing there. Sure he told you to dress nicely and whatnot, but holy cow. You looked gorgeous!
