(Cosmo stood in the lobby, with a bouquet of flowers)

Cosmo's POV: I'm going to confess to Sprout today. He said these were his favorite flowers. I feel really confident. We've had so many memories together, I'm sure he likes me back!

Cosmo held the bouquet of flowers behind his back as he walked up to Sprout's door and knocked on it twice

Cosmo: "Hey Sprout!"

Sprout: "Cosmo? What are you doing here? Did you need something?"

Cosmo: "I wanted to say...I really like you, Sprout"

Sprout: "What? But you're a boy..boys can't love boys... What's wrong with you..?"

Cosmo: "..." He stood there, shocked by Sprout's cold and harsh response

Sprout: "You're disgusting" he looked at him with disgust, and irritation

Cosmo, not knowing what to say, dropped the flowers. But.. How could he..? Cosmo thought that Sprout liked him back. But sometimes life isn't as simple or fair as it seems..
