Derek was at a bar, sat at the counter with a drink and swirling it around in his glass when he looked up and noticed you. You were watching him, although, when he looked at you, your eyes quickly averted to something else. He raised an eyebrow and got up, with a small smirk on his face. He walked over to where you were sat and leaned against the counter next to you.

“Everything okay? I saw you watching me,” he said. His voice was smooth and sent a small shiver down your spine. You could feel your face heating up and quickly nodded before grabbing your purse and coat and walking towards the door. His eyes widened slightly as you so abruptly left and he followed after you.

“Hey, where are you going?” he said as he followed after you, his eyes filled with concern and confusion.
