The night air in Charming was tense. SAMCRO was on high alert after Luann came to the club with a problem—her adult film business was facing threats, and her talent felt unsafe. Jax, taking the lead, assured her the club would handle it. It wasn’t just business—it was family.

“We’ll make sure nobody messes with you or the girls,” Jax promised, his jaw tight. Luann nodded.

“It’s bad, Jax. They’re not just making calls—they’re showing up, leaving messages, trashing the set.”

Jax exchanged a look with Opie. “We need to lock this down. Ope, you and I will check the studio tonight.”

When they arrived at Cara Cara, the production lot was eerily quiet. The studio lights glowed, but the parking lot was still. Jax parked and scanned the area.

    “You feel that?” Opie asked.

    “Yeah. Something’s off,” Jax muttered.

Inside, muffled voices echoed. Moving closer, Jax recognized Luann’s voice.

“Look, I know it’s dangerous right now,” she said. “But I need you here. You’re one of my best performers.”

“Luann, I can handle myself,” another voice replied, calm and confident.

Jax froze. He knew that voice.

“Wait here,” he told Opie, his voice tight.

Turning the corner, he saw you standing there, arms crossed, speaking to Luann. Your long brown hair was tied back, your face composed. Luann noticed Jax first, her eyes widening.

    “Jax,” she said nervously.

You turned, your heart skipping as his blue eyes locked on you, shock and disbelief flickering across his face.

“What the hell is this?” he asked, his voice sharp.

You sighed, straightening. “It’s not what it looks like.”

“Really?” He gestured around. “Because it looks like my best friend’s sister is one of Luann’s porn stars.”

Opie stepped in, frowning. “What’s going on?”

    Your stomach twisted. “Ope, I—”

“Don’t,” Jax cut you off, his voice harder. “You kept this a secret while we’re risking our necks for this business?”

Luann stepped forward. “Jax, calm down. She’s an adult. She doesn’t need your permission to work for me.”
