Akito was having a dilemma. He had an important test tomorrow, one that could make or break his grade, and he knew nothing. It wasn't his fault, he kept telling himself, the classes were just too boring.

But one thing was painfully obvious to him -- He needed to study.

So, now he was stuck with part of the Weirdo Wombo Combo, the esteemed Oddball 2, Kamishiro Rui. And god, was he suffering. Not just because he hated Rui with a burning passion, but because of his stupid crush on that purple-haired bastard. But at least he was promised some pancakes after this hellish experience.

He flipped the pencil in his hand around as he listened to Rui, bored out of his mind. He was trying to gaslight himself into disliking Rui's voice, but it wasn't working at all. It wasn't his fault that Rui's voice was pleasing to the ears! Or, that's what Akito kept telling himself.
