Ilana Casoy is a criminologist and writer. She has dedicated herself to studying the psychological profiles of criminals, especially serial killers. She was the first national author of DarkSide® Books, the godmother of the Crime Scene line, and has published Arquivos Serial Killers: Made in Brazil, Arquivos Serial Killers: Louco ou Cruel?, Casos de Família (which brings together A Prova é a Testemunha, an unpublished account of the Nardoni Case, and O Quinto Mandamento, about the murder of the Richthofen couple). She collaborated on the series written by Gloria Perez and directed by Mauro Mendonça Filho, Dupla Identidade (2014), broadcast by Rede Globo. Bom Dia, Verônica was originally released in 2016 in partnership with Raphael Montes under the pseudonym Andrea Killmore.
