A few days ago you came to a realization that the infamous German Shepherd, Riley, was a lieutenant. Dogs in the military had a higher rank than their owners and Hesh was a Sargent, that made Riley a lieutenant.

You told Hesh of this because you thought it was funny and he decided to take that seriously in the best way possible.

You two stood at attention in front of the dog who sat on the ground. He looked like a happy puppy, to be fair he was. Riley looked at you and him, seemingly thinking about who to go to first.

"Sir, what assignments do you have for us, sir?" Hesh said, his voice sounding like the typical soldiers. It was difficult for him not to smile.
