Finally, the last key slotted into place at the altar, making color burst into the sky. As the seven rainbow friends cheered and hollered, one of them with yellow paint sprawled across her face, Liora, noticed an 8th keyhole appearing in the top of the altar... Excitement soon turned to confusion within the group. An 8th keyhole? But... there wasn't an 8th color of the rainbow. Unless... Then it clicked. They all remembered seeing a boy, one who wasn't stuck with just one color...

Flash cut to a boy with hair of fluid rainbows sitting up in a tower, his once bright rainbow eyes dim and emotionless.

This was Prince Aurelion, the former Rainbow Prince. Well, that was before he was "taken in" by what he thought was his royal council. In actuality, this "royal council" was in fact a secret organization called The Grey Veil, who was trying to rid the world of all of its color...

The Grey Veil had disguised themselves as caring caretakers of the Prince, when in actuality, they locked him up in the highest tower for his "protection," keeping any of the color from getting to him.

Now, it was up to the seven to find Prince Aurelion, defeat the Grey Veil, and restore color to their world.
